Congregation Machzikei Hadas (CMH) is a modern orthodox shul located in Alta Vista, just mere minutes from beautiful, scenic downtown Ottawa. Rabbi Idan Scher leads this vibrant and growing community with excitement, enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine love that is felt in every speech, class, and event. This "come-as-you-are" shul is best known for it's incredible Shabbat hospitality, extremely welcoming community and amazing line up of creative events.

CMH is loaded with programming for everyone from seniors to young children. With daily minyanim, community wide Shabbat Dinners, incredible themed Purim and Chanukah parties, in-person and online classes, as well as youth programming that includes weekly Shabbat Kids Clubs, Junior Congregation, & Summer Shabbat in the Park, there is surely an event to please everyone in the family.
