Young Professionals and Students in Ottawa have several ways to connect!

The Capital Jewish Experience (CJX) is the hub in Ottawa where Jewish young professionals can meet new friends and connect to the Jewish community.

Our innovative, member-driven approach to programming fuels a sense of ownership and community spirit among members, covering a diverse range of activities such as holiday celebrations, educational programs, cultural events – and everything in between!

We meet monthly for Shabbat services, delicious home-cooked meals and spirited conversation. Come and discover what we’re all about.

Hillel Ottawa’s student leaders, staff, and lay leaders are dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming, and inclusive environment for Jewish students. Hillel Ottawa helps students find a balance between being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood.
